We’re pleased to share that LD Seating has officially opened its first London showroom, located at 3 Clerkenwell Road, right in the centre of one of the world’s most respected design districts. The new space offers a dedicated space to engage with architects, designers and partners across the UK.

Clerkenwell: London’s hub for design and architecture

Our new showroom couldn’t be better placed. Clerkenwell is home to more architects and creative studios per square mile than anywhere else in the world. It is a neighbourhood where design is not only appreciated but lived and breathed. Surrounded by the energy of the UK’s design community and international visitors alike, the space offers a place to experience our work in person.

We first opened the doors during Clerkenwell Design Week 2025. From September on, the showroom will welcome visitors during regular opening hours.

Heritage at the heart of the showroom

Our showroom sits within a building with a story of its own. Designed by Thomas Chatfield Clarke in the second half of the 19th century, it still reflects the character of Victorian industrial architecture.
Inside, the design by Czech architecture studio CHYBIK + KRISTOF builds on that heritage in a way that feels both natural and contemporary. At the heart of the space, the original steel columns have been strategically revealed, linking the showroom to the building’s past and to the wider industrial history of the area. Their rounded forms speak of craftsmanship and staying power, qualities that we value deeply.

The circular motif carries through the interior in clean, flowing lines. It ties together the columns, the staircase and the layout itself, creating a smart and cohesive environment that allows the seating to take centre stage.

Three floors designed to inspire

The showroom spans three floors, each with its own role. The ground floor serves as the main exhibition space, where visitors can explore a curated selection of our seating. Downstairs, the basement offers room for additional displays as well as a relaxed coworking area for informal meetings and focused work. On the first floor, a dedicated meeting room and fully equipped kitchen provide a comfortable setting for longer discussions and presentations.

You’ll currently find pieces from some of our most well-loved collections on show, including Flexi Lounge, Nido, Lotus, Trivi, Melody Meeting and Riva. The display will be updated regularly, with two major new product launches already set to debut there next year.

While we share the space with other Czech interior design brands, we are proud to be the main partner. Every seat you see in the showroom has been made in Boskovice, at our production facility in the Czech Republic.
